Description

Elouera Beach is one of a series of beaches that curve for around 4km along Bate Bay. Elouera Beach connects with Nth Cronulla beach 400m to the south and Wanda beach to the 250m to the north.
Elouera Beach is a sandy beach, the sand is pale white, soft and clean. The beach is surrounded by sand dunes and nearby road and suburban houses.

Name

The name Elouera is an Aboriginal word meaning 'Pleasant Place'

Summer Salt is a great restaurant with amazing views of Elourea beach.
There are cafes and Fast Food shops nearby
Sunbathing is common at this beach. Beaches are usually less crowded than beaches to the south, but can still get busy over summer weekends. The sand is soft and usually clean.
Good swimming and body surfing on this beach.
Surfing is popular at Elourea, can get crowded on summer weekends, but usually ok otherwise. It is an exposed beach break, best in SE swell and Westerly winds.
here is good surf fishing from this beach. Best time is usually towards dusk with Bream, Tailor and flathead commonly caught.
his area has a great walking and jogging track system. From Elouera beach it is possible to walk north along the beach to Boat Harbour, 2 kms North, and South you can follow a paved path past the Cronulla Beaches all the way to the bottom point of Bate Bay headland, around 2.5 Kms.
